Philsutech will hold its 63rd Annual National Convention on August 15 to 19, 2016. This is a much-awaited yearly gathering of sugar industry leaders, sugar technologists, sugar technology providers, sugarcane farmers/planters, traders and millers and an opportunity for us not only to renew friendships but to update our knowledge on the latest industry technologies and promote our businesses.
This convention will feature keynote messages, plenary speakers from experts who can apprise us on issues which affect the sugarcane industry. Other highlights include the product exhibits, the Search for the Best Technical Paper, and technical presentations under the Sugar Process, Management, Agriculture and Farm Engineering, Factory Engineering and Bio-Energy and Environmental Management Divisions. As usual, we will have our annual Golf Tournament at Cebu Country Club, the Fellowship Exhibitors’ Night, Gala Night, where we will be conferring the Don Carlos Locsin Award and the Outstanding Sugar Practitioner, and the election of the new set of Directors. We therefore enjoin our fellow members and other stakeholders to pre-register for our convention so that you can avail of substantial discounts. We are still accepting booth reservations for exhibitors who wish to promote their products and services during the convention. Aside from product exhibits, you can also support the convention by becoming a Sponsor, Patron or Donor or you can advertise in our Convention Souvenir Program which will be distributed to all delegates during the event.
