The previous year presented several challenges as well as opportunities in the sugar industry. As in the past years, PHILSUTECH will always be involved by providing avenues for members to interact with each other and discuss possible solutions and alternatives for the betterment of our member companies and the sugar industry as a whole.
This year, the Agriculture and Farm Engineering Division will once again conduct an “Educational Farm Tour & Workshop” on February 15 – 16, 2018 in Negros Occidental. To achieve our goal as technology provider, we have prepared a program to cater the needs of sugarcane farmers, farm owners/managers and decision makers. The tour and workshop fee is P2,500.00 which covers the cost of transportation during the farm tour and meals for two (2) days.
We are inviting everyone to take part in this annual mid-year activity. Aside from the relevant topics to be presented, we have also invited several suppliers to showcase their farm equipments. An actual demo will also be conducted and presented as a viable solution to the problem on the scarcity of farm workers.
