Attention: PLANTERS, FARMERS & MILLERS
As you all know, this crop year presents many challenges and whether we like it or not we just have to adapt, be it the drastic change in weather conditions to the scarcity of cane-cutters. In line with this, we have tailored this year’s farm tour to allow us to cope with and adopt new practices.
PHILSUTECH Agriculture & Farm Engineering Division FY 2016-2017 will hold its annual mid-year educational Farm Tour & Workshop this coming February 2 & 3, 2017 in Northern Negros.
We have identified progressive farms and experimental stations located in Talisay, and Victorias, Negros Occidental who are willing to share with us their farm management, cultural practices and its new varieties. We also have invited several suppliers to showcase their farm equipment through field demonstration that would benefit us in our present problems, the scarcity of farm workers.
In this regard, we are inviting the farm owners, decision makers and managers to attend this Farm tour and workshop. What we will learn will surely benefit us in our present situation besetting not only our farms but the whole sugar industry.
Your participation fee of P2,500.00 will cover the cost of transportation, meals and caps provided during the two days activities. We are limiting the attendance for 50 persons, henceforth, we are setting a deadline for registration on/or before January 15, 2017.
